After 10 years, I'm finally being myself

Let me tell you a story, Reader.

For over 10 years, I've been building and creating online.

It started with Little Coffee Fox, my original blog where I shared all kinds of stuff about bullet journaling, planning, and organizing—but more importantly, about finding joy and self-expression in those everyday practices.

But that was just the beginning.

As I grew, so did my interests. I started exploring watercoloring, lettering, and other creative pursuits. My interests expanded, and so did I as a person. Over time, I realized I couldn't fit all of who I am into one box or one brand.

When we launched Foxsy in late 2020, we had a clear vision: to create a learning platform where people could discover or rediscover their creativity, and weave it into their everyday lives—without having to completely change who they are or how they live.

For the past 4 years, our team has poured their hearts into building something truly special. We've created classes, brought on talented instructors, added new features, and built a community of people who are learning to be creative on their own terms. I'm incredibly proud of what Foxsy has become.

But in pouring everything into building Foxsy, I made a choice: I stepped back from creating the free content I loved making—the blog posts, the YouTube videos, the social media posts. I focused entirely on the platform and on promoting the paid membership.

It felt necessary at the time. I wanted Foxsy to be worth it. I wanted to make good on our promise to our members.

And somewhere in that process, my identity became synonymous with Foxsy. I wasn't just the CCO—I became the face of the brand in a way that didn't leave room for anything else.

Here's the thing: I love everything we've built on Foxsy. But over the last few years, I've realized something important—I've only been showing up as "Foxsy Shelby." The bubbly, bright, positive persona that launched the platform. And while that's a part of who I am, it's not all of who I am.

All of this to say that I'm making a big change. I am kicking off a brand new online me, complete with a fresh Instagram account (just to start).

I have more to add to this story, but I'll leave it here for now. If you are interested in following my journey into this new chapter, go check out my brand new comic on my new IG account! 👇

Cheers,

Shelby
